     Student Success Statement

'' I have been asked what I mean by 'word of honor'. I will tell you: place me behind prison walls-walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground- there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, never! I'd die first.''
                                                                                              - Karl G Maeser

Reflection:
Everybody has to give there word of honor at some point, but occasionally it's abused. Once the word of honor disintegrates, the trust that was once there vanishes as well. The word of honor has a balance, and my suggestion is 3 simple key terms: Trust, Integrity, Humble. If one of these is gone the word of honor's balance will grow to be lopsided as it is trying to hold it self together, but as time goes by another one disappears. The word of honor will crumble, and it will never be same again.
