                                       Student Success Statement
"You will be taken care of"
''If you do what's right, if you live the right way, you'll be taken care of."
                                                                                     -Rachel Castillo

Reflection: I don't really understand, what this quote is trying to signify, but I will try to explain the best I can. Based on what I think the quote says is in life. We have two choices. It's either to do what we know is right, or just not do anything at all and chose what is wrong. It's pretty simple. What's right may seem the hardest. But the conscequences can follow up. But when you do the right thing. People will mostly always be on your side. Well some times depending on what your going for. If you take care of someone most likely they will help you back or be thee for you too. But only sometimes this isn't saying to then after be mean to someone who didn't chose to help you. so advice 101: Do what's right! It makes you look better! ;)

                                                       Student Success Statement
''In life as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goalpost are?''
                                                                                                       - Arnold H. Glasgow

Reflection: What Arnold H. Glasgow is trying to show us. Is that in life your not going to go anywhere without a goal. If you don't really know where you are going. Or maybe what your future dreams are. What are you going to do? Your going to be stuck in the past. not being able to live in the present or even dream about the future. That's why what you should do is begin to find your path. Find something you want to do. Or try new things. You will soon find something you love and want to achieve. That will be your goalpost.

                                                       Student Success Statement
''Only those live who do good?
                                                                                    - Count Leo Tolstoy
Reflection: This quote means that even if you think you are living but in reality your in your own fantasy. Let's make an example. Imagine your taking a test. Most of your classmates studied, but it's only you who didn't. You have two choices to either copy or just do what you can. It's obivous that the most easiest solution is looking at your neighbors paper, and even if you do so pass it. Does that mean your living. you copied someone else's work but your not really learning anything. This isn't living it's called cheating through life.

                                                         Student Success Statement
                                                      A Choice: Poverty or Prosperity
"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and I can change that poverty. It depends upon how hard I want to work, and I decided that I would change it."

Reflection: This quote is pretty much saying how poverty is a choice. Well I agree yet disagree at the same time. This is because I get that we have the choice, but imagine your parents not even having the money for you to go to school. You want to go but you can't. what happens then. It's not really your choice anymore. it's just harsh reality. But if you do have the money to go to school and you have books around. you should go for it. Because education is there, now its only your choice if you want to learn. It's all up to you to achieve your goals.
